1) Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use the AutoSprite website, app, and related services that let you upload images, generate images with our on-site AI tools, and convert images into spritesheets (the “Services”).

2) Information We Collect

Account & Contact Data. Name/alias, email, and settings.
Payment Data. Billing address and transaction details (processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers).
Content You Provide. Uploaded and reference images, prompts, generated images, spritesheets, and metadata (e.g., file names and creation times).
Content Safety Data. Automated safety classifications, reports, moderation decisions, and related account or technical information used to detect and address prohibited content.
Usage & Device Data. Log files, IP address, browser type, device info, pages viewed, referral/UTM, timestamps, crash/error reports.
Cookies & Similar Tech. For session management, preferences, analytics, and (if enabled) marketing. See Cookies below.

3) How We Use Information

Provide and improve the Services (including image processing and sprite-sheet generation).
Operate the AI tools and process your requests.
Personalize features, remember settings, and analyze usage.
Communicate with you (service messages, updates, marketing where permitted).
Show you relevant ads for our products and services on third-party sites (interest-based advertising) and measure their performance.
Detect, block, review, investigate, and address prohibited content—including sexual and NSFW content—and enforce our Terms.
Prevent fraud, abuse, and circumvention of safety systems, and protect the security and integrity of the Services.
Comply with legal obligations.

Model/Tool Training. No Training: We do not use your uploaded images, prompts, or outputs to train or improve machine-learning models beyond providing the Service to you.

4) Sharing & Disclosure

Vendors/Processors who help operate the Services (hosting/CDN, AI inference providers, analytics, payment processors, email). They process data under contract and only as instructed.
Advertising partners, including Meta Platforms, Inc. (Meta Pixel) and OpenAI (OpenAI Ads pixel), who help us measure our ad campaigns and show ads for our products on other sites. See Cookies, Analytics & Advertising below.
Legal & Safety. We may disclose information to law enforcement, regulators, courts, and relevant safety organizations (such as the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children) when required or permitted by law, including to report suspected child sexual abuse material or other sexual exploitation, respond to lawful process, protect rights or safety, or prevent abuse.
Business Transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale (we’ll notify you where required).
We do not sell personal information. If “sale” or “share” applies under certain laws (e.g., CCPA), we will provide required disclosures and opt-outs.

5) Data Retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary to provide the Services and for legitimate business needs (e.g., accounting, security, abuse prevention, and enforcement), then delete or anonymize it. We may preserve content, safety signals, moderation records, and related account information for longer when reasonably necessary to investigate violations, prevent repeat abuse, comply with law, make required safety reports, or cooperate with lawful investigations. You can request deletion of your account and content (see Your Choices & Rights), subject to these legal and safety exceptions.

6) Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards (encryption in transit, access controls, monitoring). No method is 100% secure; please use strong, unique passwords.

7) Your Choices & Rights

Access/Correction/Deletion. Request a copy of your data, correction, or deletion at hello@autosprite.io or via your account settings.
Marketing Opt-Out. Unsubscribe via email links or settings.
Cookies & Advertising. If you visit from the EEA, UK or Switzerland, analytics and advertising cookies stay off until you accept them, and you can change your choice any time via “Cookie settings” in the site footer. Elsewhere, manage cookies via your browser controls and opt out of interest-based advertising using the tools listed under Cookies, Analytics & Advertising below.

8) Cookies, Analytics & Advertising

We and our third-party partners use cookies, local storage, and non-cookie tracking technologies (such as advertising pixels) for session management, preferences, analytics, and interest-based advertising. These technologies collect information such as your IP address, device and browser type, and your activity on our site.

Your consent (EEA, UK, Switzerland). If you visit from the EEA, UK or Switzerland, analytics and advertising cookies are off until you accept them in our cookie banner. You can accept or reject each category, and change your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” in the site footer. Necessary cookies — sign-in, security and abuse prevention, and remembering your consent choice — are always on.

Analytics. We use analytics providers including Google Analytics and PostHog to understand how visitors use the Services.

Advertising. We use the Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms, Inc.), which may place cookies and use non-cookie technologies on your browser to measure our ad campaigns and show you ads for our products and services on Meta’s platforms (interest-based or “targeted” advertising). Your advertising choices. You can decline interest-based advertising via your browser settings (by blocking third-party cookies) and through these industry opt-out tools:

Some non-cookie technologies may not be controlled by browser cookie settings; the opt-out tools above let you decline interest-based advertising from participating companies. On mobile, you can limit ad tracking or reset your advertising identifier in your device’s privacy settings.

9) Children’s Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the age required by your region). We do not knowingly collect such data. If you believe a child provided data, contact us for deletion at hello@autosprite.io.

10) Content Safety & Moderation

Our Terms prohibit using the Services for pornographic, sexually explicit, or otherwise NSFW content. They strictly prohibit content that sexually depicts, sexualizes, exploits, or endangers anyone under 18 years old or anyone who appears to be under 18, including real, fictional, illustrated, animated, AI-generated, altered, or synthetic content.

To enforce these rules, we may analyze prompts, uploads, reference images, generated content, outputs, and related account or technical information using automated systems, safeguards provided by our service providers, and manual review where appropriate. We may block requests, remove content, restrict features, or suspend or terminate accounts. If we become aware of suspected child sexual abuse material or other sexual exploitation, we may preserve and report relevant information as required by applicable law and cooperate with lawful investigations.

Our site may link to third-party sites/services. Their privacy practices govern those properties.

12) Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy. Material changes will be notified via email or in-app notice. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updates.
