Guidelines for creating with confidence.

1) Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the AutoSprite website, app, and related services—including image upload, on-site AI tools, and automatic sprite-sheet generation (the “Services”)—you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

2) Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services. If you are under the age at which you can legally consent to online services in your jurisdiction (13–16 in many places), you may only use the Services with a parent’s or legal guardian’s consent. You are responsible for your account, including keeping credentials confidential and promptly notifying us of unauthorized use.

3) The Services; Changes

AutoSprite lets you upload images or generate starting images via on-site AI, then transform them into sprite sheets automatically. We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time. If we make material changes, we’ll provide notice where required.

4) Ownership of Inputs and Outputs

• Inputs (User Content). You retain all rights in content you upload or create using the Services (“User Content”).
• Outputs. Subject to applicable law and third-party rights, you also own the rights in sprite sheets and other outputs generated for you to the extent permitted by the rights in your inputs and any third-party materials. We do not grant rights you do not otherwise have in underlying third-party content.

5) License to AutoSprite (Service Operation Only)

You grant AutoSprite a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, process, transform, adapt, and display User Content and related outputs solely to operate and provide the Services (e.g., convert assets into sprite sheets, generate previews, perform quality checks, store files you choose to keep, and provide support).

6) No Training on User Content

AutoSprite does not use User Content (including uploads, prompts, or outputs) to train or improve machine-learning models beyond providing the Services to you.

7) User Representations & Warranties

• You have all rights, licenses, permissions, and consents needed to upload, process, and transform User Content (including from copyright owners and from any individuals depicted).
• Your use of the Services and your User Content will not violate any laws or third-party rights (including copyright, trademark, privacy, or rights of publicity).

8) Prohibited Uses (Including Likeness/Deepfakes)

• Upload or generate illegal, harmful, or infringing content, or content containing others’ personal data without consent.
• Depict a real person’s image/likeness without that person’s consent, or generate content intended to impersonate, mislead, or violate rights of publicity or similar rights.
• Interfere with or abuse the Services, bypass security or rate limits, or reverse engineer components where prohibited by law.
• Use outputs to train competing models or create a substantially similar service that replicates our datasets or model parameters (except where such restriction is prohibited by law).
• We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations.

9) DMCA Safe Harbor; Notices

We respect intellectual-property rights and comply with 17 U.S.C. §512. If you believe material available via the Services infringes your copyright, send a notice to our DMCA Agent at hello@autosprite.io (subject: “DMCA”) including: A physical or electronic signature of the rights owner or authorized agent; Identification of the copyrighted work and the material claimed to be infringing; Contact information of the complaining party; A statement of good-faith belief; and A statement that the information is accurate under penalty of perjury. Counter-notices may be sent to the same address. We may remove allegedly infringing material and terminate repeat infringers. (Tip: we also publish a “Report Infringement” link in the footer for convenience.)

10) Intellectual Property (Service IP)

AutoSprite owns the Services, software, models, documentation, and branding. Except for the limited rights necessary to use the Services, these Terms do not grant you any rights in our IP.

11) Fees, Billing & Refunds

If you purchase a paid plan or credits, you agree to pay all fees and applicable taxes. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled in your account before the renewal date. Except where required by law or our posted refund policy, all fees are non-refundable.

12) Third-Party Services & Materials

Some features rely on third-party services or models (e.g., payments, analytics, hosting/CDN, AI inference) that may be subject to their own terms and privacy practices. AutoSprite is not responsible for third-party materials. We select vendors that permit inference use and, by default, do not train on your content.

13) Privacy

Your use of the Services is subject to our Privacy Policy. You agree we may process information as described there.

14) Beta Features

We may offer experimental or beta features that may be unstable or change without notice. They are provided “as is.”

15) Disclaimers

THE SERVICES AND ALL OUTPUTS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE SERVICE OR THAT OUTPUTS WILL BE UNIQUE OR FREE OF THIRD-PARTY RIGHTS.

16) Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NEITHER AUTOSPRITE NOR ITS SUPPLIERS WILL BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO AUTOSPRITE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY. (Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; for those jurisdictions, we limit our liability to the maximum extent permitted.)

17) Indemnification

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless AutoSprite and its affiliates, officers, agents, and employees from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your User Content, your use of the Services, or your breach of these Terms.

18) Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for any violation of these Terms or where required by law. Upon termination, your license to use the Services ends, but Sections 4–7 and 9–19 survive.

19) Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll notify you (e.g., via email or in-app notice). Continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
