AutoSprite

Make game sprites right in ChatGPT

Describe a character, pick its moves, and AutoSprite turns them into animated, game-ready spritesheets without leaving the chat.

How it works

From idea to spritesheet in one chat

01

Connect AutoSprite in ChatGPT

Add AutoSprite from ChatGPT's plugins and sign in. New accounts start with free credits.

02

Describe your character and its moves

Ask for a character, or share one that ChatGPT drew, then pick its moves: idle, walk, run, jump, presets like death or victory, weapon attack combos, 8-direction isometric packs or any custom move.

03

Watch it animate, then download

Each animation plays right in the chat when it's ready. Download the PNG spritesheet and JSON atlas for Unity, Godot, GameMaker or Phaser.

FAQ

AutoSprite in ChatGPT

What can AutoSprite do inside ChatGPT?

Create a game character from a description or from an image in your chat, then generate animations for it: idle, walk, run, attack, jump, 30 ready-made presets like death, victory and dance, weapon attack moves for 8 weapons, 8-direction isometric packs for top-down games, or a custom move you describe. Each animation becomes a transparent PNG spritesheet with a JSON atlas, ready for Unity, Godot, GameMaker, Phaser and other engines.

How do credits work?

Creating a character costs 1 credit (3 for the higher-quality model), each animation or weapon attack move costs 5, and an 8-direction isometric pack costs 15. Using a character image from your chat is free. New accounts start with 15 free credits; paid plans and credit packs add more. ChatGPT uses the same credits as the AutoSprite web app.

Where do my characters and spritesheets go?

Into your AutoSprite library, the same one you see when you sign in at autosprite.io. Open it any time to download, edit frames, make more animations or export to your engine.

What does ChatGPT share with AutoSprite?

Only what a request needs: the character description or image you ask it to use and the animations you ask for. AutoSprite does not receive your ChatGPT conversation history. You can disconnect AutoSprite from ChatGPT's plugin settings at any time.

Need help?

Email hello@autosprite.io or ask in our Discord. Include the email of your AutoSprite account so we can find your characters.

Everything you make lives in your library.

Characters and spritesheets you create in ChatGPT are saved to your AutoSprite account. Open the web app to edit frames, add more animations and export to your engine.
